STUDIO D’ARTISAN's commemorative first model, the world's first vintage-style selvedge jeans 'DO1'. The fabric of the newly recreated 'DO1' for this project was spun using a 6th count yarn that replicates the twist count and irregularities of the original fabric.
We are particular about the dyeing process, using Tokushima Tade Masai indigo's 'Kase dyeing', and we painstakingly repeated the process of dyeing and drying a total of 20 times,
resulting in a deep navy color. The stylish thickness inherited from French workwear is carried over to the new 'DO1'.
