Please consider the shrinkage when deciding the inseam length of raw/non-wash denim.

The fabric used is 17oz Bushu sashiko cloth.

Bushu sashiko is known for its unique texture and durability. Historically used for warmth and reinforcement, this traditional Japanese textile is also utilized in kendo and judo uniforms today.

For the dyeing, we adopt the traditional Amami mud-dye technique from Amami Oshima. We use natural dye from the Teech tree (wheel tree) native to the island, and iron-rich mud derived from geological layers over 1.5 million years old. Each piece is carefully dyed by nature’s force. This method creates a depth and warmth in color that artificial dyes can never replicate.

The silhouette is a regular straight fit based on the SD-101 model. The buttons are made from natural nut material.
