This is a 15.0oz selvedge jeans made with "Indigo Shibori Dye".

Indigo Shibori Dye is a highly intricate dyeing technique that involves first dyeing the fabric in a vibrant natural indigo blue,

and then layering it with persimmon tannin dye, which requires a great deal of effort.

The color of Indigo Shibori Dye is deeper than regular indigo dye,

and as it is worn, the persimmon tannin color becomes more pronounced.

This is due to the property of tannins, the main pigment component of persimmon tannin, which condenses and polymerizes over time.

Additionally, persimmon tannin is said to have strong antibacterial and deodorizing effects, and is also used in traditional medicine.
