America in the 1940s.
During this time, jeans and denim jackets
were simplified to focus on materials for World War II,
with unnecessary parts being thoroughly restricted
and each component being simplified.
Additionally, veteran sewing craftsmen focused on military uniform production,
while the manufacturing of workwear, including jeans,
was still carried out by less experienced sewers.

At D'Artisan, we recreate the clumsy sewing and simplified details based on the historical context of the 1940s,
using 13.0oz original denim fabric spun in Ishikawa.
After sewing, we apply beige color toppings
to express the rugged and raw denim texture of that time
and the faded, oxidized
atmosphere of indigo blue.

Weight: 13.0oz
Silhouette: Loose Straight
