The fabric used is 17-ounce Bushu sashiko fabric.

Bushu sashiko is known for its unique texture and durability. Historically, it was used for warmth and reinforcement, and today, it’s a traditional Japanese textile used in kendo and judo uniforms.

For dyeing, we adopt the traditional "Amami Mud Dyeing" technique from Amami Oshima. It uses dye from the native tea tree (Cleyera japonica) on the island, and iron-rich mud from strata over 1.5 million years old. Each piece is carefully dyed with the power of nature. This method creates a depth and warmth in the color that artificial dyes cannot replicate.

The silhouette is a regular straight cut based on the SD-101 model. Natural nut buttons are used.
