The fabric features a distinctive texture and durability. Traditionally used for warmth and reinforcement, it is now commonly found in kendo and judo uniforms. This traditional Japanese textile, ""Bushu Sashiko,"" is utilized here.

For dyeing, we use the traditional “Amami Oshima Mud-Dyeing” technique, handed down for generations on Amami Oshima Island. It employs dye from the native tea tree (Teshu tree) and iron-rich mud sourced from geological layers over 1.5 million years old. Each piece is carefully dyed by nature’s own process, creating a rich, warm color depth impossible to replicate with synthetic dyes.

The buttons are also made from natural materials, crafted using nut buttons.
