The design is inspired by the sack jackets of the early 20th century. The silhouette is a gentle A-line that expands toward the hem, while utilizing details that are reminiscent of the period. The sewing technique called “bag stitching” is used. This method requires a high level of skill to completely hide the seams and beautifully finish both the front and back sides of the garment.
