G3 Overalls [G-008]

A masterpiece by inventor Sakichi Toyoda, the 'G3' is one of Japan's earliest power looms,

which has been used to weave these overalls.

Only a few of these machines still exist, and sourcing parts is difficult,

with maintenance only manageable by skilled artisans,

making this fabric a rare find that cannot be guaranteed to be produced again if broken.

Indeed, this is an 'overalls you want to have now.'

The most significant feature is the fabric, where you can feel the intense roughness

created by the machine's rawness and the artisan's skilled technique known as 'Darashi weaving.'

When compared to uniformly crafted denim made with meticulous maintenance,

the difference is overwhelming.

The shape is based on vintage overalls but incorporates a slightly modern silhouette,

adjusted to a moderate width rather than the extremely wide silhouettes of the past,

resulting in a stable shape that is easy to coordinate.

For those unsure about which size to choose due to the larger waist,

it is best to select based on the size of the pants you currently wear.

It is also a great item to wear even wider intentionally.
