GL3 Regular Straight Jeans [SD-1001] Big Size

The GL3, created half a century ago by Toyota Automatic Loom Works, is one of Japan's earliest power looms. Due to the lack of replacement parts, the only way to maintain it is to extract parts from discarded identical machines. It requires considerable effort to maintain, and additionally, it can only weave a mere 5 meters per hour, making it an inefficient loom. However, the denim woven on this GL3 has a ruggedness and awness reminiscent of denim from half a century ago, making it a one-of-a-kind loom that can express workwear denim.

D'Artisan's new standard SD-1000 series 'GL3 Series' utilizes the characteristics of this GL3 to the fullest by using denim crafted with D'Artisan's original recipe in terms of thread texture, thread count, rope-dyed color tones, and the number of warp and weft threads. It possesses a unique unevenness and roughness that cannot be expressed by modern denim, which is produced efficiently and uniformly. This is a confident creation that was ompleted only after repeated trials without any compromises.
