The "Ishikawa-Dai" is the oldest ring spinning machine still in operation in Japan, manufactured by Ishikawa Seisakusho Co., Ltd. in 1953.
Because it spins slowly, it places less stress on the cotton, preserving its natural softness, creating a texture reminiscent of hand-spun fabric.
The loopwheel machine knits without applying extra tension to the yarn, allowing for a gentle knitting process.
After knitting, the fabric is stored under the machine, ensuring that the natural texture of the cotton is not compromised.
