These are produced using a unique, old-fashioned circular knitting machine called the ""Tsuriki machine,"" which operates solely in Wakayama Prefecture in Japan. Although it knits fabric at a slow pace of about one meter per hour, this machine creates a distinctive texture and thickness that modern high-speed sinkers cannot replicate, imbuing the fabric with exceptional toughness that withstands the test of time. The shirts come in a zip pack, making them an excellent choice for gifts.
